The mission of Alpha & Omega Christian Academy is accomplished through a partnership between the school and home. We are dedicated to providing an environment in which the faculty, staff, and students will grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. We instill a strong Christian foundation for lifelong learning and college preparation by nurturing spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social in an interdenominational setting.
The educational philosophy of AOCA is based on a God-centered view that alltruth is God’s truth and that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God which contains this truth. God created all things and sustains all things. We acknowledge and affirm that every person has been created in the image of God with a unique identity and assignment. Within this person exists individual strengths and weaknesses, capabilities and limitations. By grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the individual enters that relationship with God whereby he is nurtured and matured. Thus, we want every person in our school to grow as an individual; acknowledging, appreciating and using the identity which God has given and following the course which God has established.
Education at AOCA is approached from a Biblical perspective that recognizes the sovereignty and authority of God. AOCA’s primary purpose is to provide an excellent academic program in a well-disciplined, Christian atmosphere. Carefully selected curriculum academically challenges elementary, middle and high school students and upholds the Christian standards we wish to develop. Prayer and Bible classes are a very important part of the daily schedule for our students. AOCA is a place where academics, good moral character, physical well-being and respect for others are emphasized and expected at all times. Every facet of helping a young person to mature is based upon Luke 2:52 and Christ’s example of growing: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
